Kālá and how a Hindu deity makes for SuperWho

So I’m looking up Kala to confirm an entirely different fandom thing, but I take a moment to read it, because well, deity of time. Maybe I shouldn’t have.

Anyway, Shiva’s got a million different incarnations, and so does his main lady Parvati, but they’re all treated differently, which is probably why Kali isn’t Parvati on Supernatural. But where Kali is Parvati (incarnate), Kala is Shiva (incarnate), and they’re both manifestations of time.

Didn’t think much of anything, but then there’s

kāla 2 means “a fixed or right point of time, a space of time, time … destiny, fate … death”

Did you see it?

a fixed or right point of time

Money on Jack at some point getting worshiped as (and for all intents and purposes was) a pagan god in ye ol’ India, before Loki was in Kali’s picture. And then Loki was in the picture. And Kala and Loki were kinda human-observing brosephs. And then Loki smoothed on Kali. And the Kala/Kali break-up wasn’t that bad.

└ With the Apocalypse approaching, Castiel reveals that having the Doctor on their team may not be such a good idea.

Castiel can hear the TARDIS.

She can speak Enochian.

So she tells him jokes in Enochian.

Because on so many space&time levels, Castiel needs to laugh. And she makes him.

The Doctor is expressly forbidden to ever engage in events that angels are involved in (because God asked him not to, for reasons, and God was a bro, once), and that can just explain why he’s never around for some life-destroying events.

Captain Jack Harkness.  The only man other than Doctor Sexy to make Dean Winchester blush like a school girl.

Superwho is the only way one can plausibly make Castiel say, “It was a robot head.”

Complicated and partially well-planned

I has a plot in mind. It’s just trouble trying to figure the Doctor’s presence without making him a simple transporter. In the mean time, this was a bit of a trip to write, since it was more, “How do you handle a sizable group of people who are all going to talk over each other and crap,” because that’s ALWAYS an issue, and this is a scene I wanted to write anyway, because foreshadowing and =3= I’m dabbling in my own headcanon.

So…presenting the potential relationship between Castiel and Captain Jack.
